The “BE GR8” Scholarship is a community-focused award established through a collaboration between Born Blessed Clothing and H.I.M. (Helpin’ In Moments) to support local college students who exemplify excellence, resilience, and a commitment to positive impact. The program awards multiple $500 scholarships to students in the New Orleans area, recognizing not only academic achievement but also leadership, community engagement, and alignment with the values of service and empowerment championed by both organizations.
Developed in partnership with the Lou Lou Foundation, NOLA Field Day is a community initiative aimed at creating safe, accessible spaces for youth recreation, education, and positive development in New Orleans. Through collaborative programming and resource support, NOLA Field Day brings together local stakeholders to foster opportunities for connection, athletic engagement, and community pride, reinforcing the belief that every young person deserves space to grow and thrive.
Commitment to Others
Across every space I serve, my work is centered on expanding what’s possible for others—socially, financially, educationally, and economically. I create environments where people feel supported, seen, and equipped to grow; I design opportunities that lessen financial barriers; I help programs that strengthen community networks; and I contribute to systems that elevate long-term economic mobility. Whether I’m developing strategy, mobilizing resources, or leading conversations that shift mindsets, my approach remains the same: identify what’s missing, build what’s needed, and ensure that every effort contributes to collective advancement. My commitment is to uplift people on multiple levels and leave every community I touch stronger than I found it.
